C, I work for myself, have done all my life, and I can do what I want when I want.

Doing it with first class air travel would, I imagine, only make the waiting times at airports more comfortable and shopping in Sainsburys is nicer than Morrisons.

Can I vote B and C? I can have a rich and fulfilling life without the money.. but I could enjoy that life a little more if I could do it without a 9-5 income.

I'd go with "B"

Having enough passive income to pay the bills and have some fun would definitely make me feel rich.

Wealth brings the ability to have free time to help others and serve in your community, church, or around the world. By giving back to others, you can have a good share of those non-monetary riches that service brings.

I feel rich in many ways, with family, friends, my interests, etc. But, a little extra money to allow me the extra world travel I enjoy, and to buy that little cottage in the English countryside wouldn't hurt.

I'll consider myself to be rich when I can pay for food, housing, and necessities from a passive income (interest from investments) and my hobbies (blogging, building) can net enough income that I can live comfortably and buy all sorts of gadgets and cars. So long as my necessities are taken care of them I'll be "well off"

Mine is definitely a B. Being in this circumstance does not have to hit million dollar asset. I have seen people who earn 10k monthly claim to be financial free. It is how you manage your finance ultimately.

I'd definitely fall under C - being rich has little (if anything) to do with money. Some of the happiest people on the planet are extremely poor; some of the saddest people are extremely rich.

That isn't, of course, to say that I don't want to be able to make SOME money. I want to be able to provide for my family and buy the occasional book, but beyond that, I don't really care. If I had a lot of money (which I don't - I'm one of those college students who's quickly accumulating a mass of debt :-), I'd give it away.

I will be rich when I can afford to do everything I want to do (live well, travel, etc.) and have plenty left over to save for retirement.

I will be rich when my net worth exceeds $2 million.

I wholeheartedly agree with your statement B.

Having enough money coming in (or in the bank) where I can live the rest of my life without having to worry about it AND have all the free time I want.

A.) When I hit a certain monetary figure in total assets. (i.e., $1 million dollars)

B.) When my passive income exceeds my expenses thus giving me the luxury of never having to work again unless I choose too.

C.) Being "RICH" does not have anything to do with money at all. I consider my life "RICH" and I am in massive debt from college still :-)

Just curious as to what others think. I always hear people say "I want to be RICH!". I'll throw my 22cents in after hearing some responses.
