Second place? Depends on whether you count ads for in-house services or not. They have ~10 per page if you don't count in-house stuff. Especially bad in content pages, since you have to scroll down before you even see the first bit of actual content.

Boing Boing pulls the ads off somewhat tastefully though, with its all-white background. It's still overload, but I've never noticed them before!

That site makes my adblock melt. I thought I had too many on my site, but nothing like that.
