Honestly I'm not going to bother with a site that can't even tell me what they do besides "get behind" my browsing experience. Give it a shot and let me know all the greatness that I am missing.
Good Teej, I had a look and couldn't work out what it does and had no interest in investigating further. A nice design means nothing to me when it just sounds like spyware.
I'm pretty sure curiosity only runs to a certain amount of people since we have enough stuff going on in the world to keep us occupied. And let us not forget that curiosity only lasts so long. When I wake up tomorrow this topic will be forgotten to me.
I was able to find a preview, and I definitely want to preview it. I completely agree that the site blows, although it's mysteriousness did prompt me to google an answer. It is an amazing idea, that could revolutionize surfing.
It appears to be a plugin that allows you to see other users visiting the site, or page you are currently on, the system then allows you to contact them or start a conversation. In addition it offers some cool ideas on sharing pages between friends.
I'm definitely interested. Another internet toy to suck my time.
I got one of those invites back then, but I entirely forgot what it did. I'm certain it had to do with social networking or social browsing. Oh, and yeah, you can add friends to it. Neat, huh?
Seriously, though, if I remember well, it's a mix really between chat and swarm.the.dot.com (I keep getting these split URLs). Don't see much use for it unless you're collaborating on some project and want to share your research without copy/pasting URLs for each other.
The fact that still no one knows what it is doesn't bode well I'm afraid.

You know you have a flop waiting to happen when:
I tried it, got bored, don't understand it, and now I'm uninstalling it.

Yeah... so what is it? I closed it after getting to the register page and not knowing what I'm signing up for.

Since everyone has the same reaction can anyone really tell us what it is or will we all be forced to give it a shot?

Ignoring it is always an option, Scrivs =)
Or is the curiosity getting to you? I think that's what they're planning on.
