you can turn off the anti-aliasing in IE7 off, should fix the 'problem'.

It's just you. Sorry. You must've really ticked someone over at MS off. Man -- that's awesome.

Can't say I've ever had this problem. As an aside: Though I use FF most of the time, IE is so much easier to use with embedded media.

Well it's not really dodgy, it's just that Internet Explorer 7 made text slightly bolder, and to me it also appears smaller (but I'm probably just seeing things).

I use Mozilla Firefox as my main, but do regular checks of my site using IE to see if everything is working okay.

It could be a strange interpretation/adaptation of your screen's DPI... I can't say as I've noticed it anywhere but I don't use IE7 as my main browser.

Show me a site that looks dodgy for you and I'll give it a look in my copy.

Very strange. I certainly haven't noticed that - and if the CSS is coded correctly, I shouldn't either - px is px regardless, surely?

Maybe your default view is set as zoomed out - and then sites where the font is specified in px will appear normal, and where it's in em they'll resize?

I could be wrong, though - I'm no designer. But you're in the right place for plenty of people who are ;)

did Internet Explorer 7 make everyone smaller just so you're forced to use the zoom in tool intergrated into the browser? Or at least it seems smaller...

I know quite a few sites, my site included, where the text appears smaller. I made my text large for a reason, so that anybody at any age can come in and easily read it, but the smartasses at Microsoft just made it small again...

Luckily this site's text isn't made smaller by Internet Explorer 7, but everyone appears to be bold!
