I got to see it today finally. I gotta say the change is hugely for the better. I actually liked the old one, too, but this is so much more useful... takes away a lot of needless legwork. Way to go guys.

At work I'd happily pay something for Analytics, I do wonder why they aren't charging anything for it.

It's only been available since yesterday, and my account already got upgraded! Woohoo!

The interface went through a complete remake, it used to be sluggish and old, and now it's a lot better. They use sparklines and fancy clear graphics, which I really like. The dashboard is also made customizable, and you can view the data in a lot more ways (in a table, a pie chart, a vertical bar chart, and a bar chart comparing with the average). The content is still the same though - you get the same information only through a new interface.

The Google Analytics site states:

Over the next several weeks, we will be migrating all existing Analytics accounts to the new Google Analytics interface.

So, it seems like it could still take some time before everyon gets the new interface.

They're upgrading slowly, account by account. ModernLife was lucky and got it early.

I want it to! Hate the old four way stat screen.

@Mike: I also see the new interface. I think early adopters got rolled out first, then the other users are coming online every few hours or so.

What little I've poked around wit it, it's nice. Much easier to get the information I want without having to drill down for miles to find it.

Wow, that looks hawt! I haven't used Analytics in awhile, since I use Mint, and I've recently started using Reinvigorate as well. I might recommend it to some friends though, but I think they might just be satisfied with the new Automattic stats plugin.

I have it and it's considerably better than the old version. I've always loved the information it has but using it has been a real pain in the back side but now it's a pleasure. Everything is so much cleaner and nicer to look at and the interface in general is easier to access. I'm very pleased with the changes.

I don't have the new interface yet, but it says it's rolling out over the net few weeks. Guess I'll have to wait. Still doesn't look like a mint-beater, though.

It looks like Google's acquisition of MeasureMap finally paid off! It's been about 2 years since Google acquired Urchin and launched Google Analytics, and they finally took the wraps off their new interface today that I think is a huge step in the right direction.

<img src="http://9rules.com/articles/newdashboard.gif" alt="New Dashboard" />

Their new way of presenting data is no longer an antiquated applet, but is now a partial Flash animation that is controled via Ajax calls on the interface. The new bar chart is similar to the MeasureMap version but doesn't allow you to select ranges on the spot -- you have to use an HTML dropdown above, but it's still fantastic. It's great to be able to visualize your data in a manner that other stat packages have had for awhile.

<img align="center" src="http://9rules.com/articles/sparklines.gif" alt="Sparklines" />

Taking a cue from Edward Tufte, Analytics is now sporting sparkline infographics next to numbers to provide a better relationship between the current data and the previous trend. This is something I wish other stat packages would provide since it's so helpful.
